The Q branch of Tamil Nadu on Friday arrested all 35 crew members of the arms laden US ship Seaman Guard Ohio which had entered into India’s territorial waters a couple of days back.
The authorities had detained the ship carrying illegal weapons on October 12 in Tuticorin and the State Government had asked the Q branch, which monitors activities of banned organisations and suspected terrorists, to probe into the matter.
State Government has intimated the Centre in this matter in a preliminary report and a final report is expected to be sent later.
