Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will be visiting the Netherlands along with a delegation from Monday to attract overseas investment in the state.
“With an objective to attract overseas investment in the state and to further economic assistance, the Chief Minister, along with a delegation, will be visiting the Netherlands from tomorrow,” an official spokesman said in a statement issued here.
He said during his visit, the Chief Minister would meet office-bearers of Netherlands Agro Food and Technology Centre besides mayor of Hague.
He will meet the mayor with an aim to promote cycling in Uttar Pradesh on the lines of the Netherlands.
Akhilesh would also visit the International Court of Justice at Hague followed by a meeting with Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers.
Meanwhile, BJP alleged that main objective behind the visit was tourism and not attracting foreign investment.
