’EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA BHARAT’ is a government of India programme to promote and celebrate unity in diversity and to strenghthen the bond between the people of the country.Keepng in line with the objective the EBSB Club of Maharaja Bijli Pasi Government P.G. College,Lucknow organised an online WEBINAR on the theme ‘ Dekho Apna Desh’ on the history and culture of India and the historical city of Lucknow. The programme was inaugurated by Prof.Dr Manju Dikshit and convened by Dr Sanobar Haider, the nodal officer for the EBSB programme of the college.
The Keynote speaker Mr Vikramjeet Singh Rooprai,a heritage activist and historian from Delhi talked about the ancient culture of the Indus Valley Civilisation and mesmerised the audience with his impeccable lecture .
Mr Ravi Bhatt,the distinguished speaker of the day spoke about the history and culture of Uttar Pradesh. Being an authority on the history of Awadh he dealt with the various aspects of Lucknow and its rich culture.The Webinar was also attended by Academicians and students from the paired college of Meghlaya.

Dr Vanessa Kharmaphlang,Principal ,College of Teacher Education and the Nodal Officer, Dr Regalia M. Tongper also addressed the gathering.Academicians and students of various colleges from across the country joined in the Webinar in which paper presentations were made by teacher members and students of the EBSB group on various topics related to the history and culture of India and the city of Lucknow.The Webinar ended with an interactive session between the Speakers and the participants.
