It was a day of celebration for 354 graduates of University Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) as they

received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Master’s Degree, Bachelor Degrees and Diplomas in various fields and disciplines from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ,the Chancellor of UNISSA at the 11th convocation ceremony, yesterday.

The ceremony was held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Pro-Chancellor of UNISSA.

contributors for the 11th Convocation. He also expressed gratitude for His Majesty Sultan’s consent in allowing UNISSA to utilize the Sinaut Agriculture Training Centre, Tutong District to accommodate the needs of the Faculty of Agriculture and Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre to be more efficient and productive.

His Majesty then delivered a titah and presented certificates to eight PhD graduates, 62 Master’s Degree graduates, 11 Diploma in Islamic Law and Syar’ie Law graduates, 3 Postgraduate Diploma graduates, 237 Bachelor’s Degree graduates and 28 Higher National Diploma (HND) Of those who graduated, 33 were international students from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Tanzania, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Yemen, and Sri Lanka.
