People around the world have participated in protest rallies to condemn the Israeli deadly aggression against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Protesters held a demonstration in Venezuela’s capital, Caracas, on Monday to denounce Israeli atrocities against Palestinians and its relentless airstrikes on Gaza.
In Madrid, Spaniards gathered in front of the Israeli embassy, waving Palestinian flags and shouting slogans. The demonstrators urged the international community to do more to stop the slaughter of innocent civilians in Gaza.
Several hundred protesters also assembled outside New York City Hall, where a press conference was being held by pro-Israeli elected officials of the city. The protesters waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of Palestinian people.
Similar demonstrations were also held in other countries, including El Salvador and France, to denounce the Tel Aviv regime’s offensive against the blockaded Palestinian sliver.
Some 190 Palestinians have so far been killed in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since July 8. According to the United Nations (UN), nearly 80 percent of the casualties in Gaza have been civilians.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Tel Aviv will not stop its attacks on Gaza.
