New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal will meet Lt Governor Najeeb Jung on Monday and demand dissolution of Delhi Assembly and seek fresh elections in the national capital.
Kejriwal will be reportedly accompanied by 27 party MLAs and will seek removal of President’s Rule in the state.
Kejriwal’s meeting with Jung comes a day after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced that it is ready to form government if invited by the Lt Governor and for contesting fresh Assembly polls.
Kejriwal had sought an appointment with Jung last week alleging that the L-G was going to invite BJP to form a government in the state despite the party lacking the required numbers needed to form the government.
